After the New Color (2002)
|
"During a moment of great despair, a heartbroken detective glimpses a new color. A fourth primary color had never been concieved of, let alone witnessed before. This dramatic discovery leads the detective on a life changing quest. First he attempts to describe the new color in order to share it with others. However, the more closely he comes to understand what he saw, the more isolated he becomes from the rest of the world. Consumed by this, his greatest case, he goes on a chase into the Hollywood Hills that will change him, forever." This noir radio-play is produced complete with a moody jazz soundtrack and spectacular sound effects to vividly bring to life the drama of a unique discovery. Voiced, written and directed by Michael Markowsky. Photographs by Dean Sameshima. The total running time is 24 minutes. (A slide show is currently being produced and will accompany future broadcasts/screenings of the radio-play.) The radio-play has been broadcast on the radio many times in Los Angeles and Canada.
