How to Paint (Lesson #1): The Colour Wheel

Artist Michael Markowsky teaches you how to paint with acrylics! He begins with a quick introduction to what paint actually is, and then demonstrates how to mix colours and paint a colour wheel. Future episodes will feature tutorials that cover more advanced techniques, but if you’ve never painted, this is a great place to start! He begins with an overview of important colour terms (Hue, Value and Intensity) and then demonstrates how to change a Hue's value by adding white (Tinting), adding grey (adding Tone) and adding black (adding shade).
